PI Forum
Are you an independent principal investigator of any nationality, working in any discipline at a research institution in Czechia? Would you like to meet more of your peers, expand your support network, and gain new insights and inspiration in diverse topics related to your job, such as people management, making an impact at your institution, or publication strategies? Then you have come to the right place!
The core activity of the PI Forum are bimonthly informal networking events, which consist of a guest lecture, panel discussion etc. on a topic of broad interest (such as Recruitment, Communication, Publication strategy etc.) and a free networking session. These events are complemented by an online Slack platform to foster interaction and exchange of experience within the PI community also outside the networking events.
Since the kick-off event in February 2023, thanks to ongoing support from the Charles University, as well as new partnerships with Masaryk University, its Faculty of Science and CEITEC MU, we have hosted 18 PI Forum events in Prague and Brno, reaching >100 principal investigators, most of whom regularly come back.
We will be more than happy to welcome you at the upcoming PI Forum events below. If you would like to see the PI Forum events also in other cities, do get in touch with us, we will do our best to make this happen!
