Annual report 2024
2024 was a year of significant milestones for Czexpats in Science. We greatly expanded our community-building activities, including our largest Christmas Conference and six international meetups. Our #SharingCzexpats project concluded with the first ever conference on academic culture in Czechia. We concluded our study on the Czech scientific diaspora, leading to tangible changes in Czech science policy.
This year, we revisited our values, aims and vision, moving from pirrely connecting Czech researchers abroad to actively encourage in the Czech research environment greater openness, global mindset and ambition, which is why English will now be the primary language for our events and communications.
