WHAT?
An informal space for meeting, networking, and sharing of experience among Principal Investigators working in Czechia, open to all those who hold an independent research group leader position in any scientific field, regardless of age, experience, institution, or nationality.
Reviews, grants, committees, mentoring, event organization – activities that are only tangentially related to research itself, yet without them the academic world would likely collapse. Is this academic counterpart to civic activism really worth it? And to what extent is it good to get involved? An interactive discussion on why it’s important to make room in your schedule for services to the academic community, even though most of them are unpaid.
WHEN AND WHERE?
25 November 2025 from 18:30, Skautský institut na Staromáku, room Minuta (Staroměstské nám. 4/1, Praha 1 – Staré Město)
