The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Stockholm, in cooperation with Czexpats in Science, warmly invites you to the fifth gathering of Czech scientists in Sweden, which will take place on 3 June 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the embassy.
The aim of the event is to connect Czech scientists working in Sweden and to share current information on developments in science and research in the Czech Republic.
The programme will include a presentation by Petra Szeszula, a scientist and co-founder of the biotechnology company BrainZell, which develops advanced human brain cell models for research into neurological diseases and the development of new treatments. In her talk, she will share her professional journey from academic research to founding her own startup, as well as her experience with the research, innovation, and startup environment in Sweden.
This year again, we would like to offer you the opportunity to present your research in the form of a poster during the informal part of the gathering. If you would like to take part, please let us know at stockholm@mzv.gov.cz. Presenting a poster is entirely voluntary.
If you know of another Czech scientist in Sweden who has not received this invitation, please feel free to share it with them.
We look forward to seeing you.
